This calendar is a personal reinterpretation of time, designed to give each cycle a clearer sense of rhythm and meaning.
Each year is divided into five months of 73 days, totaling 365 days. Within each month, time is experienced through two complementary phases: days of action, focused on creation and movement, and days of reflection, centered on pause learning and living.
A unique rhythm of rest is also present: Every multiple of 9 is considered a weekend, creating a recurring but unconventional cycle of rest. The 73rd day of each month is a day of reflection, marking the end of the monthly cycle — a moment to step back and observe before beginning again.
In leap years, an extra day is added: This becomes Day 74 of the fifth month, a day outside the regular structure, representing transition and renewal.
The system is inspired by Os Saltimbancos by Chico Buarque, reflecting ideas of movement, transformation, and the reinvention of structures.
